F.A.Q.

you have the q's, i have the a's.

I want to cancel my appointment. What do I do?

No-shows and same-day cancellations will result in a 50% charge of the remaining balance. You have the option to cancel or modify your appointment up to 12 hours before the scheduled time using the link provided in your confirmation email. There is a 10 minute grace period. If you exceed the allotted 10 minutes, it will be considered a no-show and will be charged accordingly. Please be aware that appointments lasting less than 30 minutes do not qualify for a grace period (i.e. eyebrows, lip, underarms)

How can I prepare for my wax appointment?

Exfoliate 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Take a warm shower/bath before your appointment to open your pores.

Take an ibuprofen 30 mins prior to your appointment.

Hydrate! Relax!

Can I bring someone with me?

We kindly request that no children or additional guests be present inside the treatment room. If necessary, extra guests are welcome to wait in the lobby area outside the treatment room.

How long does my hair need to be?

Your hair needs to be about a quarter of an inch, equivalent to the size of a grain of rice. If it has been less than 2 weeks since you last shaved, please allow the full 2 weeks so the hair can grow properly. Please don’t trim!

Does waxing hurt?

As waxing involves the hair being pulled from the root, it will definitely feel different from shaving. There will sometimes be a slight discomfort feeling, but only for a few seconds. The first time is the worst, but it gets significantly easier after that.

Can I wax during my period?

Yes, you can. We just ask that you insert a clean tampon before your appointment.

How often should I get waxed?

We recommend getting a wax every 4-6 weeks to stay on a consistent pattern. Going longer than that timeframe can make your wax more painful, and can be equivalent to starting over.

Can I Wax while pregnant?

Yes! You may be a little more sensitive down there, but we promise to be as gentle as possible.

What are the benefits of waxing?

Smoother skin

No razor bumps

Thinner hair growth
